The few dating apps that are popular amonst the community that is LGBTQ Asia � including Grindr, Romeo, Tinder, OkCupid and Delta � either cater to a particular area of the city or are available to all, regardless of a person�s orientation or choices.

To fill that space, two women � Sunali Aggarwal and Aditi Gupta � have built while you Are (AYA), a homegrown networking that is social dating app designed for Indian LGBTQ+ community. It aims to give you a �no-pressure zone� and a safe area for individuals to help keep their identification private and then make connections in the time that is same. For near to two years, the duo has closely worked with various startups. While Chandigarh-based Aggarwal co-founded Mobikwik during 2009, Gupta, located in Mumbai, worked together with her spouse to construct a startup in food imports.
